Points to note before buying:

1. This adapter card only supports 2.5-inch NVMe U.2 interface (also called SFF-8639 interface) hard drives, and 2.5-inch SATA protocol is definitely not supported!

2. This is a PCIE x4 interface, which can also be plugged into a PCIe x8 or PCIe x16 graphics card interface. The idea is that you need to insert the PCIe 3.0 interface of the motherboard. If you insert the PCIe 2.0 interface, the speed will definitely be halved.

3. This adapter card is shipped with a 12cm flexible cable by default. If you need a flexible cable with other lengths, please contact our customer service. However, our shop recommends not to lengthen the flexible cable easily. The longer the cable, the more signal attenuation will affect the speed of the hard drive. The length of 12 cm is the ideal length with slight attenuation tested by our shop. In fact, the signal attenuation is also related to the hard disk model. Some models attenuation is not obvious or even indistinguishable, and some attenuation is very obvious. This has a lot to do with what kind of main control the hard disk uses. My test of Intel hard disk is the best. Yes, the attenuation is not very obvious.

4. Whether it can be used as a system disk is related to your motherboard and has nothing to do with the adapter card. Generally, motherboards that use DDR4 memory can support NVMe protocol hard disks as boot disks. Some old motherboards can also achieve NVME hard disk startup by flashing BIOS. Please search for details on Baidu or Taobao.

5. After receiving the goods, it is recommended to connect the adapter card to the hard drive and insert it into the motherboard slot and take a photo for me to confirm and try again. Our shop often encounters the slot card slot or the hard drive and the plug is reversed! If you make a mistake, the consequences are very serious, it will burn the adapter card, the motherboard and the hard disk!

6. Windows 7 does not support NVMe, so do not test under Windows 7. Please enter the disk manager to reformat the new hard disk before using it.

7. Be careful to operate, the flexible cable is easily torn and broken if it is pulled vigorously, and the cable slot is also an easily damaged part.
